Success Symposium
Closing the Achievement Gap - What Works!

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

UConn Stamford
1 University Place

8:00am to 3:00pm – public session
4:00pm – 7:00pm closed session for educators

The achievement gap is the difference in standardized test scores between minorities and whites, and between rich and poor students.

While Connecticut continues to have one of the largest achievement gaps of any state in the nation, some schools are demonstrating success at reducing or eliminating the gap.

It can be done and it IS being done!

Participants at Stamford Achieves’ Success Symposium will learn techniques that Principals are using to unlock the potential in ALL students.

Principals from around the country, around Connecticut and here in Stamford, will be present!
