Stamford Achieves is a non-profit organization whose board of directors is comprised of volunteer leaders from local businesses, community organizations, and parents of Stamford public school children. The mission of Stamford Achieves is to provide community leadership and advocacy to close the achievement gap in the Stamford Public School system as quickly as possible while improving the quality of education for all students.

Stamford Achieves acts as a diverse community change agent that uses best practices to encourage educational change in our community and reduce the achievement gap of students in the Stamford Public Schools. Stamford Achieves endeavors to create a model of community collaboration that can be replicated in other cities facing the same issues throughout the country.
